What the secret boss Ω is

The secret boss Ω is a normal boss or giant that, by chance, shows up in its Ω version: tougher and with an extra reward.

• Warning: the intro shows secret boss!.
• Look: it turns golden and its name ends in Ω.
• Life: 30% more than the normal version (×1.3, rounded up).
• Attacks: the same as its type: any of the bosses or giants can come out Ω.
• Death: an implosion followed by waves on the beat.

When the Ω boss appears

Every boss or giant has a 4% chance to come out Ω, from a certain point in the run.

• Campaign: from level 10. Since levels 10, 20, 30… belong to titans, in practice the first one that can come out Ω is the level 15 boss.
• Boss rush: once you've beaten the first boss.
• Never a titan: even though titans carry Ω in their names, they have no secret version.

Rewards for beating it

On top of any boss's rewards, the Ω boss gives:

• +100 coins.
• A special reward.
• The omega achievement (beat the secret boss), 150 coins. In the achievements list it shows as ??? until you get it.

The negative ball

The negative ball is a white ball that, if you hit it, inverts the screen colors for 10 s.

• When: from level 7, with a 7% chance on each serve and at most one per level.
• What happens: NEGATIVE! appears and everything turns negative; after 10 s it switches back with POSITIVE!.
• Settings: if flashes bother you, there's an option that blocks flashes, glitch, negative flashes and fast blinking.

The ball combo

A ball combo happens when a ball you hit collides with 2 different balls: it gives you an extra life.

• Reward: +1 life, or +250 points if you already have 7 lives.
• Message: COMBO! EXTRA LIFE.
• Achievements: carom (1 combo) and pool shark (10 combos).

With several balls in play, such as from level 2 on or during frenzy, it happens more easily.

The main menu code

The main menu hides a secret code: the Konami code, ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A.

• Reward: a special reward.
• Achievement: ↑↑↓↓ (find the secret code), 50 coins. It shows as ??? until you find it.
