Daily challenge rules

The daily challenge is played once per day, on normal, and every player gets the same run.

• Same seed for everyone. Bosses come in the same order and the music is the same for everyone that day.
• One try. You cannot restart. Once you have played it, the menu says "today's challenge is already played".
• No continues. There is no paying coins to continue after a game over.
• No bonus stage. The hypercycle does not show up in the challenge.

Otherwise it plays like the campaign: levels, threats and a boss every 5 levels.

How to end the challenge early

To close the challenge mid-run, open the pause menu and pick "end challenge".

1. Pause. On-screen pause button, P or Esc, Start on a controller or Back on the TV remote.
2. Pick "end challenge". The game warns that your current score is recorded and you cannot play again today.
3. Confirm. You get "challenge over" and the result goes into your history.

History and rewards

Each challenge saves your score and the level you reached, with a history of the last 7 days.

• challenger: complete a daily challenge (15 coins).
• perfect week: complete 7 daily challenges (60 coins).
• Weekly mission: "complete 3 daily challenges" can be one of the weekly missions (+150 coins).
